No Stress Impress needed a dental care app that works on both iOS and Android and has an easy-to-use UI. In keeping with the brand's promise of a stress-free dental impression procedure, the objective was to develop a guided digital experience that could be used from the comfort of one's own home.   

Our team at Sphinx Solutions developed a mobile app that offers step-by-step, easy-to-follow tutorials. It reduced confusion and mistakes, allowing customers to complete their dental impression procedure without in-person assistance.   

We integrated a built-in image capture and submission feature within the app to take clear pictures of their dental impressions. Also, a video guide tutorial was introduced for reattempting the impression correctly. This feature helped improve pass rates and reduce the number of additional kits sent out, saving time and operational costs.   

The No Stress Impress mobile app is equipped to support future updates and new features, aligning with No Stress Impress’s growth plans and commitment to customer satisfaction. 

Problem Statement

The dental care company, No Stress Impress, struggled to ensure that clients could use the kit effectively without in-person assistance. Users found it difficult to follow the printed instructions, which led to improper impressions, multiple reattempts, and requests for support.    

Due to the lack of visual instruction, users lacked the clarity to finish impressions correctly the first time. There was no effective way for clients to send in pictures of their finished dental impressions for expert evaluation. As email-based submissions were slow, disorganized, and prone to errors, they created delays in feedback and approval. The order fulfilment process was delayed, and extra shipments and extended support contacts resulted in higher operating costs. The business needed a streamlined and safe method for handling this correspondence.  

Solutions Implemented

No Stress Impress is a US-based modern dental care company revolutionizing the dental impressions kit that can be used right at home. Their flagship product, the boil-and-bite dental impression kit, simplifies the process of taking traditional dental impressions without the hassle of clinic visits. 

To enhance their customer experience, No Stress Impress partnered with Sphinx Solutions to develop mobile applications for Android and iOS. Our team created a user-centric dental clinic app providing interactive tutorials, step-by-step guidance, and in-app tools. The idea was to capture and submit dental impression photos directly to No Stress Impress’s team for review.    

The apps were built using React Native technology for cross-platform performance, Node.js as the backend, and AWS for cloud infrastructure. It resulted in a highly engaging user journey that improved success rates. Through this collaboration, No Stress Impress was able to deliver a truly digital-first dental clinic app right from the user’s home.
