One emergency platform
A single app where a user can ask for ambulance support, an electrician, a plumber, the police or legal aid, rather than five different numbers.
Overview
Before U Care came to Sphinx Solutions to build a single emergency app: ambulance support, electrician, plumbing, police coordination and legal information, all in one dependable place. The goal was something a family could rely on in an emergency, with quick access to approved providers and communication that holds end to end.
That meant apps on both Android and iOS, real-time GPS tracking, secure OTP authentication, multilingual access and an SOS feature that works under pressure. It also meant a subscription structure, so families could buy a plan, redeem vouchers and request a service without friction.
Alongside the user app, Before U Care needed a dedicated field worker app for task assignment, and a web admin panel for clients, supervisors, emergency requests, payments, services and locations. The whole ecosystem had to carry someone from discovery through to a completed job.
Client Requirement
01
A single app where a user can ask for ambulance support, an electrician, a plumber, the police or legal aid, rather than five different numbers.
02
Full Android and iOS development, so access does not depend on which phone somebody owns.
03
A flexible model with monthly, quarterly and annual plans, plus redeemable service vouchers for families.
04
GPS tracking, SOS alerts, live service status and toll-free support, because these requests are time-sensitive by definition.
05
A dedicated app for job allocation, navigation, status updates, OTP verification and resolution tracking.
06
One dashboard for customers, subscriptions, payments, service locations, emergency requests, supervisors and field staff roles.
There was no single platform where somebody could ask for immediate help with plumbing, electrics, legal support, the police or a medical emergency. People fell back on providers they had no reason to trust, at the moment it mattered most.
Without real-time tracking or open service updates, families could not tell when help would arrive, which turns a delay into a safety problem.
The requirement went well beyond one app. It needed a full ecosystem: apps on both platforms, a field worker application and a capable admin panel, tied together with subscriptions, vouchers, payments and multi-role access.
That takes a structured approach, a strong backend and secure APIs, with the user workflow, the worker operation and the administrative controls all kept in step.
We built an emergency app ecosystem that connects people to critical services through one platform, designed around how an emergency actually unfolds rather than how a booking form usually works.
The pieces talk to each other, so communication between users, staff and supervisors does not break at the point it is needed.
Sphinx Solutions delivered a three-part emergency ecosystem: user apps on both platforms with SOS, GPS tracking, subscriptions and vouchers, a field worker app for assignment and verification, and a web admin panel running the whole operation.
“The Sphinx Solutions team was a delight to work with from beginning to end. They really understood what we wanted: a single emergency app able to handle ambulance, plumbing and electrical services simply. They delivered exactly that, and the final platform is stable, user-friendly and properly aligned with how Before U Care actually operates.”
How We Work
From requirement analysis to deployment across three applications, and what each stage settled before the next began.
Step 1
We gathered what a single emergency app had to handle: plumbing, electrical and ambulance requests, alongside subscriptions and real-time tracking.
Step 2
A secure, scalable backend to carry both mobile builds, GPS tracking, SOS alerts and the service workflows.
Step 3
A clean, simple interface that gets somebody from opening the app to a request placed in as few steps as possible, on any device.
Step 4
OTP login, subscription plans, voucher management, service booking, Google Maps navigation and multi-language support, across every service type.
Step 5
Both apps tested for performance, stability, location accuracy and consistency between Android and iOS.
Step 6
The user app, the field worker app and the admin panel deployed together, with support and maintenance after.
Implementation
The four stages the build came down to, from the workflow behind each service to the dashboard watching all of them.
We mapped a workflow for each service category, ambulance, plumber, electrician and the rest, so requests are handled properly inside one app rather than generically.
Structured Android and iOS development covering the user apps, the field worker app and the APIs that keep them talking.
GPS tracking, SOS alerts, OTP verification and job assignment, the parts that make a time-sensitive response possible.
A central panel covering users, subscriptions, payments, service locations, emergency requests and field staff activity.
Impact
Ambulance, plumbing and electrical help can be reached faster, because asking for it is now one action in one app.
The field worker app improved job assignment, navigation and updates, which keeps coordination tight across every service category.
Consistent behaviour on Android and iOS built trust and lifted adoption.
Users, locations, payments and emergency requests are all managed from one place, which makes daily decisions quicker.
Tech stack
In closing
The Before U Care project turned a concept into a working emergency app, connecting people to the services they cannot wait for: ambulance support, plumbing repairs and electrical help, with easy access, live tracking and a straightforward experience on both platforms.
A flexible backend, purpose-built field worker tools and a capable admin panel give the client full control and give users a service that arrives.
What people usually ask about Before U Care and about building something like it.
A unified emergency service platform that lets users request ambulance, plumbing, electrical, legal and police assistance from one mobile app, with real-time tracking and subscriptions.
The complete project: planning and UI/UX, Android and iOS development, backend architecture, the field worker tools and the admin panel.
It carries emergency response workflows, GPS tracking, SOS alerts, vouchers and real-time updates across several service categories, rather than taking a booking and stopping there.
Yes. Each service type has its own workflow, so a user can request any of them quickly and the request is routed properly.
Yes. The apps and admin panel sit on a scalable architecture, so services, features or new locations can be added without disrupting performance.
