Agent Reports
What are agent reports?
Contact centers produce a huge amount of data. With the right technology, nearly every part of the service process can be measured: how many calls came in, how long they took to answer, how long the agent spoke with the customer, and how the call ended. These metrics are reported for the whole enterprise and, where it makes sense, broken down to the individual agent.
Agent reports show how a specific agent is performing against key metrics, such as average handle time and sales conversion rate.
Forms agent reports can take
Agent reports range from paper-based summaries to fully automated tools. Ideally, agents see their numbers in a dashboard on their desktop that pulls current data from multiple systems, so they can monitor their own performance without waiting for someone to hand them a report.
More advanced tools also include team-level statistics. That lets supervisors and individual agents see how performance compares with teammates.

- Retention and satisfaction: Greater engagement can lead to higher retention and employee satisfaction.
- Better coaching: Supervisors can see exactly where an agent needs coaching and development.
